Other TCP/IP traffic.
T-Booster allows to compress virtually any TCP/IP traffic. Here is an example how to set up MS SQL
Query Analyzer to access MS SQL Server through T-Booster. To do that we
need to know our MS SQL Server’s address and port number on which
the server listens for connections. Let’s fill the table below
with setup information:
MS SQL Server address: sql.t-booster.com
MS SQL Server port: 1433
Next we need to create a map in T-Booster as follows:
|
Press "Apply" button to make the changes active. Here we
setup saying that all queries sent to T-Booster Client (address
127.0.0.1) on port 1433 should be forwarded to sql.t-booster.com to
port number 1433. To connect to our SQL Server let’s run SQL
Query Analyzer and in the login window we specify t-booster.com as our
SQL Server (address 127.0.0.1):

|
When T-Booster Client (address 127.0.0.1) gets queries
from SQL Query Analyzer it will forward the queries to
sql.t-booster.com as we specified in our mapping in T-Booster Client.
Some installation might require
additional setup SQL Server Client Network Utility. Please refer SQL
Server Books Online for more details.

setup saying that all queries sent to T-Booster Client application
(address 127.0.0.1) on port 119 should be forwarded to
publicnews.symbiandevnet.com to port number 119. Then we need to setup
MS Outlook Express. Start MS Outlook Express and in the menu "Tools"
select "Accounts".
